the cover of the duchess war by Courtney Milan: a book with a woman with her hands on her hips

This book is about a woman who gets accused of writing radical literature, which is very annoying because if she were going to write radical literature, she wouldn't use as many exclamation points. She ends up tracking down the person who did it, who happens to be a duke who thinks dukes shouldn't exist, mostly because he's pretty sure his father shouldn't have existed.

The rest of the series is also about how dukes shouldn't exist, and women should be able to vote and/or wear bright pink gowns and/or discover chromosomes.

You can read about it here.

the cover of the Duke who Didn't by Courtney Milan: an Asian couple embracing

This book is about a half-Chinese duke who has been spending his vacations pretending not to be a duke in a village in Kent where Asian people have settled. He accidentally has forgotten to mention that he is a duke who happens to own everything. You may be asking if there were half-Chinese dukes. Stop doing that. There are better questions, like "why do we even have dukes?" This is a common theme in my books because objectively speaking, we should not have dukes. No, seriously.

The rest of the series continues to be about how we should not have nobility. Also there's a lot of like pottery and printing and food? Sometimes a girl just needs to beat a flong.

Here's where you can get it.

if you would like my normal website where I don't use glitter graphics it's courtneymilan.com
